Visit Us – Section 02
The Ferrers Gallery is part of the Ferrers Centre of Arts and Crafts. Once a Georgian stable block built in the 18th century, today the courtyard is filled with local artists' workshops and studios, along with a deli and cafe, everything needed for a wonderful, family day out. The centre resides on the picturesque Staunton Harold Estate – a stunning rural location in Leicestershire, part of the National Forest. On the estate, you will also find numerous permissive footpaths and cycleways, as well as Staunton Harold National Trust Church, and just a mile away, the National Trust property of Calke Abbey.
There is plenty of car parking on the Staunton Estate. A nominal charge applies only at weekends and bank holidays and allows access to the Ferrers Centre for Arts and Crafts, the public areas of the Staunton Harold grounds and the National Trust church (This is seasonal so please take a look at the National Trust site for further information), and the on-site garden centre.
Ferrers Gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday 11am - 4pm, as well as Spring and Summer Bank Holidays. Alternatively, you can visit our online shop, where you will find a carefully selected mix of our beautiful British arts and crafts.
