Calke Abbey spans across over 600 acres of parkland, with lakes and rivers to walk along. You can also explore Calke’s wetland area and discover a preserved 18th-century deer shelter on this pleasant walk through the ancient parkland landscape. In the heart of the parkland, you will find the once stately home. The Milking Parlour is the Tollgate Brewery Tap, is located within the National Trusts Calke Abbey estate in Derbyshire. The Milking Parlour offers the best in craft beer and cider, with wonderfully rustic interior seating inside of an old dairy shed and outdoor seating, where you can perch on chairs made from old beer barrels. Here you will find delicious pizzas, alongside a host of different food trucks on certain nights of the week.
